Which AI is best?

Cheaper doesn't have to mean worse. These are the AI models in the plans we compare, ranked by an independent leaderboard, with the cheapest way to get each one.

    How much use do you get? Limits and tokens, plan by plan

    Most AI companies don't publish token counts for their apps, so we show exactly what each one does publish. "Tokens" here means the context window: how much text the AI can take in at once.

        How to switchTurn off auto-renew in your iPhone or iPad Settings (tap your name, then Subscriptions), let the month you've paid for run out, then subscribe on the provider's website. Website plans may bill in US dollars, and some cards add a foreign-currency fee of about 2.5%.

        How we rank and earn

        • We rank by fit first: plans that fully cover what you ticked come before plans that cover it only with tight limits. Then we rank by price. Commission never changes the order.
        • Quality ranks come from Arena's public leaderboard of blind votes, not from us or the AI companies. With “Keep the same quality” on, we never suggest a swap whose best model scores clearly lower than yours.
        • We only count a feature or a usage limit when the provider's own pricing or help pages list it. Where a company publishes no numbers, we say so.
        • When a plan that pays us nothing is the best fit, it comes first. ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini pay us nothing.
        • Some companies here pay us a referral commission when you sign up through our link. Those links are labelled “Pays us a commission”. We've applied to some of the other programs. Until one approves us, its links go to the official page and pay us nothing.
        • We take every price from the company's own pages. If you spot a wrong price, it gets fixed within 48 hours.
        • Your ticks stay in your own browser so they're there next time. We use no cookies and collect no personal details.

        • Your ticks are saved only in your own browser so they're there next time. They never reach us.
        • We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't follow you across sites. We see only totals, such as page views, referring sites, browsers and countries.
        • We don't ask for your name, email or payment details, and we don't sell or share data.
        • When you click a link marked “Pays us a commission”, that company may use cookies to credit us with the referral. Its own privacy policy applies on its site.
